I grew up in a little town world

Wasn't a lot there to see

Where I was born when a little town girl

Married my dad and had me



We lived in a neighborhood,

In a neighborhood.

And my whole world

Was just three square blocks round,

And the top of the world

Was up in my favorite tree.



Someday I knew,

I would go back there to see
